Commissioned by France Culture for the 50th anniversary of the Maison de Radio France. 2013.
The building is circular as well. The walls are old and rugged. The french language is also rugged, broken and heavily accented. It is another “Maison de la Radio” in the middle of the woods, overlooking the sea of Sestri Levante in the Ligurian riviera. Not a modern building but the medieval tower that Guglielmo Marconi restored and used for his radio experiments in the 30’s.
Special thanks to Ilaria Turba, Roberto Begani, Roberto Barresi of the Associazione Tigullio Torre Marconi and Maurizio Anselmo of Grand Hotel dei Castelli.
